The Used Oil Re-refining Unit is a very compact facility.
Typical layout area required for a 50,000 MTPY Re-refining Unit ISBL is as follows:
Production of Base Oil API Group I (without Hydrofinishing) - 1,500 sq.mt
Production of Base Oil API Group I+ and II (with Hydrofinishing) - 3,000 sq.mt
